As a former IT Executive, Dean leverages his extensive leadership background as a Talent Acquisition Partner with many "name brand" companies, supporting their corporate level recruiting initiatives. Whether it's in the Retail, Software Development, Network Management Integration, Financial Services or Food and Beverage market segments, Dean's commitment is to offer high caliber candidates to fill highly visible positions.
Dean has managed teams of professional and technical staff of up to 130 employees & contractors and has developed accelerated career path planning for individuals to improve their professional assessment and growth. He has served as a member of the Information Technology Advisory Committee for Silicon Valley College and has more than 18 years of extensive Volunteer Leadership and Board Member involvement for several non-profit organizations throughout the East Bay Area.
He is the Founder of the National Leadership & Career Management Advisory Group (NLCMAG.com), a multifold Advisory Group, comprised of experts in their respective fields from a variety of market segments across the Country. The purpose is to serve as a primary hub of resources for Leaders who may need confidential guidance or peer training. The program is designed to enhance all aspects of Leadership Development & Advancement, Corporate Visibility & Market-Share and Human Capital & Resource Management through their extensive partner alliance and advisory network.
Additionally, Dean is a contributing author for the "Career Advice" section on high-profile career boards such as CareerBuilder (CareerBuilder.com), The Ladders (TheLadders.com) and E-BIM (Electronic Business Intelligence Monitor, E-BIM.com). He speaks at events throughout the Greater Bay Area including those hosted by the San Jose Mercury News & BayAreaNewsGroup, and is a contributing author to their Bay Area Virtual Job Fair site and blog (BayAreaVJF.com) and The National Resume Writers Association (NRWA.com), the industry’s leading not-for-profit, member-driven organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of excellence in resume writing through certification, education, and mentoring programs.
Dean is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and also serves on the Board of Advisors for Recruiters Alliance Network, a premier Recruitment Services and Executive Outplacement services group.
As a public speaker, Dean is recognized for his presentations on Career Transition Management, Resume Development, Competative Compensation Analysis and Selecting and Working with Recruiters. He has also delivered presentations on Organizational & Effective Leadership, Team Building and Technology Risk Assessment & Mitigation. He has served as a Corporate Speaker locally and at destination resorts such as Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe and Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, California.
In January 2002, Dean redefined the Job Connections Outreach Program in the East Bay of San Francisco, which is designed to assist executives in transition. Under Dean's leadership, with more than 2,200 participants and approximately 65 volunteers, this program has grown to become one of the largest and most reputable professional groups in the Greater Bay Area. His personality and enthusiasm have inspired hundreds in the midst of their career transitions.

Dean is also an Ordained Presbyterian Elder (PCUSA). As a musician, he plays percussion and sings in the band at his church and is perforning on four CD's that have been recorded and released over the past several years.
A "Great-Nephew" to the late actor Spencer Tracy, Dean resides in Northern California and celebrates 27 years of marriage to his wife, Denise. They have four children ranging in age from 19 - 25 years old and are now proud grandparents! Their oldest son, Nick and his wife Jenna, added a new member to the family in December 2007! Meet their new granddaughter, Kirra May Tracy!
